There's this ridiculous statistic I heard once: 60% of men want to marry a woman who cooks [on a regular basis]
Ugh. I'm not big on cooking. I think it oftentimes takes too long and I get quite impatient. When I make a meal that is really good in under 30 minutes I am quite overjoyed, and in those moments I think there is in fact hope for me. Although I come from a line of good cooks, I just don't enjoy it like they do (my mom didn't seem to either and maybe that's where I get it from) but I'm working on finding a happy medium...for the sake of my left hand. lol.
Well this Christmas, I asked my mother for a slow cooker. A really good one. I've been advised, to start here, because it requires me to basically do nothing except, chop up the goods, season them and watch them crock. I'm actually quite excited that there exists a mechanism that makes cooking so outrageously simple!
And from this we have my Crock Pot Chronicles.
Look for different crock pot meals from yours truly after the holiday. Get excited.
